History

Save a Dog and Kids was founded by Denise De Vynck in 1999. Denise has always had a strong love for animals and children and found a way where should could help both. The program helps dogs find homes and learn to trust people again and the children likewise learn to trust and love also. Children learn to have responsibility and gain self worth as they feel needed and loved by their new companion. They learn compassion as they work with the dogs and  train them for future adoption.

Save a Dog and Kids has shown wonderful results in the lives of many children over the years. For some their lives were changed forever. Denise and her programs have found homes for thousands of dogs and helped dozens of children change their lives.

About

Save a Dog and Kids is a program to help struggling youth and dogs to bond and grow together. Research from Dr. [whatever] at Utah State University has shown that dogs are the best way to help kids break the cycle of abuse and neglect. Save a Dog and Kids is designed to do just that.

We need your help!

Save a Dog and Kids desperately needs your help. The programs cannot be as efficient or widely available without the funding and support required. Please, if you can donate even $5 it would be immensely helpful in bringing opportunities to needy dogs and children. Thank you for any contribution you can make.
